Police say a Sodus man was arrested following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested David C. Tuper, 54, of Sodus for driving while intoxicated.
Tuper was initially pulled over after he was observed turning off his headlights while driving in an attempt to avoid police. Tuper was stopped and during the investigation he appeared to be in an intoxicated state. After failing field sobriety tests, he was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he was found to have a .11 BAC.
Tuper is due to appear before the Town of Sodus Court at a later date to answer charges.
