Toronto scored both of their runs in the fourth. Bo Bichette smoked a RBI double to left and Matt Chapman lined a RBI single to center.
Jordan Montgomery got the start for New York and allowed a pair of runs over five innings. He also struck out five and did not issue any walks.
The bullpen was great once again. Jonathan Loaisiga, Miguel Castro, Clay Holmes and Chad Green each had scoreless appearances. With Aroldis Chapman having pitched back-to-back days, Green was asked to close it out.
The Yankees send Jameson Taillon to the mound on Tuesday night as they go for their 11th straight win. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m.
