Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Best Nutritional’s is having a product recall.

The recall is on the companies Wintergreen Essential oil.

The reason for this recall is that the packaging does no meet the child resistant packaging requirements.

The oil contains methyl salicylate.

When a product contains this substance it must be child resistant.

If a package is not child resistant is can cause a risk of poisoning for young children.

The recalled oil is sold in a dark amber bottle that holds 4 Fl oz.

The UPC code can be found on the back side of the label.

This product was sold online at Walmart.com and Amazon.com.

From October 2018 through February 2021.

There is around 2,800 bottles affected by this recall.

So far there has been no reported cases of incidents or injuries related to this recall.

If you have purchased these oils stop using them and store them out of children’s reach and sight.
