The Syracuse Crunch edged the Providence Bruins, 2-1, in overtime on Wednesday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
Darren Raddysh opened the scoring in the first period with his seventh goal of the season to put Syracuse up 1-0. Providence tied the game late in the first after John Beecher netted a power-play goal.
After nobody scored in the second or third, Riley Nash buried a power-play goal in overtime to give the Crunch a 2-1 victory. Nash is now in double figures with 10 goals.
Max Lagace turned aside 28-of-29 shots to earn the win while Kyle Keyser and Troy Grosenick combined for 46 saves in the loss.
Syracuse finished 1-for-5 on the power play and 4-for-5 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch have now won five consecutive games.
Syracuse will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7 p.m.
