Mercedes Recall: Fire hazard and faulty cameras
McDonald’s response
This ice cream rumor isn’t about the machines being “down” every time you want ice cream.
This one is about the ice cream containing xylitol.
Xylitol is a sugar-free sweetener used to lower the amount of calories.
The rumor has caught a lot of attention.
The main reason why this is catching so much attention is because Xylitol is toxic to dogs.
It can even be deadly.
A lot of people stop to get their pup an ice cream cup while their in the drive throw.
So this news put pet owners into a panic.
Luckily this panic was short lived and Xylitol is not listed in the ingredients.
And there is no proof that shows other wise.
McDonalds even went as far as to reach out to Indy100.
To set the record straight.
And let their customers know that their ice cream does not contain xylitol.
And that the rumors are simply not true.
