Sabres bounce back with 4-3 win over Flyers

The Buffalo Sabres bounced back from Thursday’s loss to the St. Louis Blues with a 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night at KeyBank Center.

Buffalo fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but outscored Philadelphia 4-1 in the second to secure the win.

Kyle Okposo, Rasmus Dahlin, Vinnie Hinostroza and Tage Thompson scored for the Sabres while Craig Anderson turned aside 18-of-21 shots.


Joel Farabee and Owen Tippett found the back of the net for the Flyers while Martin Jones stopped 25-of-29 shots.

Buffalo finished 2-for-4 on the power play and a perfect 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.

The two teams will meet again Sunday evening in Philadelphia. Puck drop is scheduled for 5 p.m.
