Chris Bassitt tossed six shutout innings, allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out eight in his Mets debut.
Drew Smith (1.0 IP), Joely Rodríguez (1.1 IP) and Adam Ottavino (0.2 IP) each recorded scoreless appearances.
The Mets will go for the four-game sweep on Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m.
