The Northwoods Corp, an Independent Insurance Agency with multiple Upstate New York locations, announces it has entered into a management agreement with The Generations Insurance Agency in Seneca Falls and plans to add 6 positions in the area by the end of the year, representatives said Thursday.
Generations Agency will continue to be wholly owned by Generations Bank, representatives said. The agency offices were moved to a remodeled facility at 60 Fall St in Seneca Falls to accommodate the additional staff and services.
In a statement yesterday, Generations Bank President Menzo Case said, “We wanted to ensure that the interests of our customers would not only continue to be met, but by working with the Northwoods we feel we are one of the most technologically advanced agencies in the Fingerlakes region, and have the resources and staff to offer more products and services with the quality and efficiency the area demands.”
Northwoods’ Vice-President, Tony Vecchiotti added, “We’ve admired the relationship Generations has with its many clients and feel that our staffing and technology solutions will only enhance the services provided to the area.” Besides, Seneca Falls, Northwoods has 14 offices throughout New York, including Monroe, Erie, Wayne, Ontario, Broome and Steuben Counties.
