The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team added to its strong 2022 recruiting class.
Four-star guard Judah Mintz committed to the program on Thursday. He announced his decision during halftime of the GEICO Nationals quarterfinal game between La Lumiere and IMG Academy. Mintz revealed his choice by unzipping his Oak Hill jacket to show a Syracuse t-shirt and then he put on a hat.

The 6-foot-3 guard picked Syracuse over Wake Forest, NC State and DePaul.
Mintz visited Syracuse in February and attended the Duke game.
Mintz is the sixth member of Syracuse’s 2022 recruiting class, joining Chris Bunch, Taylor, Quadir Copeland, Maliq Brown and Peter Carey.
