Police say a Geneva man was arrested after violating a duly served order of protection.
According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Damon D. Steele, 24, of Geneva for aggravated family offense and criminal contempt.
It is alleged that Steele communicated with the protected person via electronic means. That same day, Steele went to the location of the protected person and tried to speak to them.
Steele was taken into custody and is pending arraignment.
