Cornell goaltender Chayse Ierlan was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday.
Ierlan made a career-high 18 saves in Saturday’s 13-12 victory over the Yale Bulldogs. The senior also added three ground balls and caused a turnover by intercepting a pass.
Ierlan is second in the Ivy League in goals against average (10.50 GAA) and fourth in both save percentage (.540) and saves per game (12.33).
The Big Red will try to improve to 7-0 on the season when they face the University of Pennsylvania Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
