Mark Crane, owner of Mark’s Pizzeria franchises, recently made a generous donation to Macedon Ambulance Corps after an accident gave him a new appreciation for their services.
Crane donated $28,000 in total for Macedon Ambulance to install Stryker Powerlifter Systems in both of their two ambulance vehicles, according to Wayne Times.
Crane made the donation following an accident that resulted in multiple injuries for the pizzeria owner, including four broken bones in his neck. The experience gave Crane a new appreciation for emergency services, and he’s hoping his donation raises awareness for how vital ambulance corps are to their communities.
