Millions of Americans will see their Social Security payment worth an average of $1,657 in just a couple of days.

Anyone collecting these benefits has seen the 5.9% COLA increase in their check.

This began Jan. 1, after being announced in Oct. amid high rates of rapid inflation.

The 5.9% was determined by using the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers.

The average increase from 2021 to 2022 was around $92.

Anyone born between the 20th and 31st of any month can expect their checks on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

The next check will be March 9 for anyone born between the first and tenth.

If you’re birthday is between the 11th and 20th, your next check will be March 16.

Couples saw their average payment amounts rise from $2,599 to $2,753.

Disabled Americans collecting benefits saw an increase from $1,252 to $1,358.

Everyone receiving benefits should have received a letter in December detailing the changes they would see.
