Ice cream sold in New York recalled due to possible Listeria contamination

Ice cream products sold in New York State have been recalled due to possible Listeria contamination.

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says The Royal Ice Cream Company, Inc. has expanded its recall to cover all products manufactured at its facility within expiry, according to Binghamton News.

Products affected by this recall will have a manufacturing plant number of “CT121” or “CT#121.”

The recall was initiated after the FDA found Listeria monocytogenes on processing equipment at Royal Ice Cream’s manufacturing facility.

A full list of affected brands can be found on the FDA’s website.
