Johnson has been a starter for Dartmouth for the past two seasons. He missed most of the 2019 season with a broken fibula. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound corner finished the 2021 season with 55 tackles, which ranked third on the team. Johnson also helped Dartmouth secure its 20th Ivy League title.
Johnson has two years of eligibility remaining.
Syracuse has now brought in six transfers this offseason. Johnson joins Alijah Clark, Bralyn Oliver, Juwawn Price, Dan Villari and CJ Hayes.
