Community Bank Promotes Alexis L. Hobart to Vice President/District Manager

Community Bank announced that Alexis Hobart has been promoted Vice President/District Manager at the Waterloo branch. In her new role, Hobart will manage the Waterloo office’s eight employees and its mortgage volume, and will oversee the Geneva, Ovid, Phelps and Seneca Falls branches.

Hobart has 31 years of banking experience, including retail and commercial lending. She joined the Community Bank team as a teller in 1995 through the acquisition of Chase Bank. Following, she served as a customer service rep, branch assistant, retail services officer, retail services officer II and VP/branch manager III.

“We are thrilled have Alexis move into this new role,” says Regional Manager Jody Tonkery. “This promotion is well deserved. Alexis is a vital part of our team and her long history with the bank and industry experience have set her up for success.”

Hobart is a graduate of Waterloo High School and earned her associate degree in travel and tourism from Herkimer County Community College. She is a member of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce, Village of Waterloo Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program, Waterloo Economic Development Committee and Kiwanis Club of Waterloo-Seneca Falls.

She lives with her husband, Brian, has a son Blake Spina (21), and step-son Bowen Hobart (23).
