Some Americans will find themselves eligible for a $1,000 stimulus check being sent throughout the end of Dec.
These residents are those who are eligible under the state of Connecticut’s Back to Work program that pays people to return to work.
The program began in May and continues through Dec. 31.

The program works as an incentive to help workers regain financial footing as they return to work following the start of the pandemic.
In order to qualify for the payment, the requirements are a bit more strict than in some states.
This includes exactly when you signed up for benefits as well as how long you collected them.

In order to qualify for the payment, residents need to have found a job they’re actively working at.
In order to qualify, a Back to Work CT program application needs to be submitted electronically.
Paper applications are not an option.

It’s possible that the Department of Revenue Services will reach out directly to an applicant in order to verify that the 8 weeks of consecutive work have been completed.

Specific requirements for the CT Back to Work Program
The details surrounding whether you are eligible for this program are incredibly specific.
First, you need to have filed a weekly unemployment claim for the week of May 23-29, 2021 in the state of Connecticut.

You need to have filed a weekly claim for unemployment for 11 more weeks between Dec. 27 and May 22, 2021.
You must have a full time job where you have worked for 8 straight weeks between May 30 and Dec. 31, 2021.
Unemployment benefits can not have been received in the 8 weeks that you were working.
