Some workers in Phoenix, Arizona will see a bonus of up to $2,000.
In order to qualify they need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Many others are wondering if they’ll see the same thing.
The city approved bonuses of up to $2,000 for eligible workers.

City records show full time employees will get $500 for the vaccine.
I they get fully vaccinated by Jan. 18, 2022, then they’ll get an additional $1,500.
Part time workers will see $1,000.
Maryland is offering an incentive worth $100 for those who get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Beginning in March, anyone who got vaccinated could receive free donuts from Krispy Kreme.

What’s going on with incentives for workers getting the COVID-19 vaccine?
Companies are offering more than just money for workers that get the vaccine.
Some offer food, drinks, lottery tickets, and various discounts.
Beginning in 2022, there will be federal and private vaccine rules.

A lot of companies are just trying to get ahead by convincing their employees to get the vaccine.
Beginning Jan. 4, 2022, the Biden administration is requiring companies with 100 or more employees mandate the vaccine or weekly tests.
Anyone choosing to get the vaccine will also be entitled to paid time off.
Face masks must be worn by workers who choose not to get vaccinated.
