Police: Drug arrest follows investigation with NYS parole in Canandaigua

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 31-year-old following an incident on Bemis Street.

According to a news release, David Fivie, 31, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers were called to a residence to assist New York State Parole.


Following an investigation, Fivie was found to be in possession of a controlled substance that wasn’t prescribed to him.

He was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for local court at a later date.
