Another arrest made in child exploitation investigation in Yates County

Police say a second person has been arrested after exploiting children in Yates County using social media.

Jamel Werts, 28, was arrested on felony counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child.

State police made the arrest after a joint investigation with the Penn Yan Police Department and FBI.

Jameel Collins, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty over the summer to a similar felony charge. He was sentenced to state prison in the matter.

Police say the incidents occurred three years ago.
