A new petition is calling on Congress and the Biden administration to send Americans $2,000 monthly checks until the pandemic ends.
The petition is on Change.org with 2,952,650 signatures so far and a goal of 3 million.
Despite the petition and efforts of Americans, the passing of such a bill is highly unlikely at this point.
The petition is gaining traction has California residents have begun to receive their Golden Stimulus checks worth up to $1,100 this week.
Direct deposits were issued Oct. 29 and checks began to be mailed out Nov. 1.
The people that qualify without dependents will get $600 and those with children get $1,100.
