As staffing shortages continue to plague the hospitality industry, the University of Rochester is finding themselves in trouble.
Many students have been given partial refunds for their meal plans worth 20%, and one dining hall on campus is temporarily closed.
To help make up for the lack of options, the school is allowing students to use meal plan money by using GrubHub as well as bringing in food trucks.
The workforce remains at 77%.
Students are expressing frustration over not being able to have enough time to eat between classes and the services like GrubHub are more expensive.
