A man was arrested for committing welfare fraud in Seneca County.
On Oct. 5, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Christopher Cooper, 38, with no permanent address.
Cooper was charges with offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree and welfare fraud in the fifth degree.
He allegedly filed false information with Seneca County to obtain financial assistance.
He was issued an appearance ticket for the Village of Waterloo Court and turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for an outstanding warrant.
