Over the weekend, the George Floyd statue in New York City was vandalized.
A video showed a man who has not been identified on a skateboard around 10 a.m. Sunday morning throwing paint on the statue before fleeing.
There are two other statues nearby of Congressman John Lewis and Breonna Taylor, a Louisville, Kentucky, woman shot and killed by police last year and both remained untouched.
The video has not been released.
This is not the first time the statue has been vandalized since its unveiling on Juneteenth.
It was defaced just five days after it was placed with black paint and the logo of a white supremacist group.
