A Geneva man has been arrested for selling a firearm.
Geneva Police arrested Allan Peterson, 41, of Geneva, on Sept. 22 for allegedly selling a .32 caliber pistol to another person.
Peterson was not authorized to possess a firearm.
This concluded a several months long investigation into the sale of illegal firearms in Geneva.
Peterson is charged with the criminal sale of a firearm in the third degree.
He is being held for arraignment.
