In an attempt to create renewable energies in the state, Gov. Kathy Hochul is planning to expand the energy grid and produce 10 gigawatts of solar energy by 2030.
The announcement was part of climate week, where countries from all over the world gathered at the United Nations in New York City to discuss climate change.
