The state with the lowest vaccine rate is now rationing its ventilators to those who may recover

Idaho is the state with the lowest vaccine rate in the country and they’re rationing their ventilators.

Now if a patient needs a ventilator and they don’t look they’ll recover- they’re not getting one.

The uptick in hospitalizations has depleted all resources used to help COVID patients.

Dave Jeppesen, the state’s health department director, called the situation “dire” and explained that there’s not only not enough resources to treat COVID patients, but anyone suffering from a heart attack or accident is unlikely to get adequate medical attention.

Idaho sits at 46% for vaccinated residents.

At the moment the state is losing 20 people per day to COVID.
