Attorney General Letitia James stopped by the New York State Fair on Wednesday and shared her opinion on vaccination in the state of New York.
She wore a mask during her visit and said it’s a science based approach that the state needs to take when thinking of ways to protect residents in the state from the virus.
She also voiced her support for Governor Kathy Hochul.
James said she looks forward to working with Hochul on a wide range of issues. She said Hochul’s breaking through the glass ceiling is a great day for New York.
At the moment, the Attorney General’s office is working with District Attorneys to determine whether former Governor Andrew Cuomo will face criminal charges as well as whether misused public resources to write his book.
When asked if she would run for governor she avoided the question and made it clear her main focus is to do her job and focus on the investigations, not politicize the process.
