Lyons man charged with contempt after making victim in domestic incident drive him across county lines

Deputies arrested a Lyons man following a domestic incident that occurred on March 1.

According to deputies, Calvin Solomon, 40, of Lyons was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for criminal contempt.

The incident began in Wayne County and continued into Seneca County, which resulted in the charges. He was engaged in a physical domestic incident in Wayne County, then made the victim drive him to an address in Tyre.




At the time of the incident, the victim was also protected by a court order.

The contempt charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
