Powerball drawings already happen on Wednesday and Saturday nights in New York, but the Lottery has announced it will be happening on Monday nights now too.

The first ever Monday night drawing will take place on Aug. 23 at 10:59 p.m. and sales begin today, Sunday Aug. 22.
