Penn Yan woman indicted on charges after selling meth to undercover cop

A Penn Yan woman has been indicted on drug sale charges by a Yates County Grand Jury.

Sara Elliot, 41, was arrested Thursday for criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Elliot was caught selling meth to an undercover police officer earlier in the year.

Elliot was released following her arraignment because of the state’s Bail Reform laws.
