Doctors believe the best chance at keeping kids in the classroom this year is to get them vaccinated

Doctors are urging parents to get eligible kids vaccinated as soon as possible.

With school starting soon, vaccination is the best thing that will help keep kids in the classroom.

URMC’s Dr. Nicole Cifra says that getting as many kids vaccinated as possible will be what ensures that kids will remain in the classroom.

The FDA has approved the Pfizer vaccine under emergency use for children as young as 12 and is currently seeking full approval.

Some parents still don’t feel that’s enough, due to how quickly they feel the vaccine has come out.

Some believe there needs to be more research before they’ll let their kids get vaccinated.
