Deputies: Lyons woman’s vehicle left roadway, ending in field before traffic stop

Deputies say a Lyons woman was taken into custody on DWI charges after they received a complaint that a vehicle was in a field, attempting to make its way out.

Hannah Lester, 25, of Lyons was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, and unlicensed operator.

The arrest stems from a 911 call where dispatchers were told that a vehicle was stuck in a field- attempting to get back onto the roadway.

Deputies were able to locate the vehicle, and initiate a traffic stop.

Investigators determined that Lester was intoxicated and issued appearance tickets. The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
