Founder’s Day has had big names headlining in the past, but it’s unlikely for this year

The first ever Founders’ Day in Auburn was in 2009 and had Sarah Palin, former Governor of Alaska, make an appearance.

In 2010 actress Sigourney Weaver was present for the event.

Chuck Mason, Auburn City Clerk, said it’s hard to get big names to come the event, as well as expensive.

Big names are unlikely for the event this year.
