An extension has been approved by the town of Geneva for sending wastewater to the city’s treatment plant.
Mark Venuti, the Geneva Supervisor, mentioned that the agreement has been continually extended due to many factors, including the treatment plant needing work done. Right now they’re keeping it short term.
The cost for the town to use the city’s treatment plant is $685,000, and the extension of the current agreement needs the Geneva City Council’s approval.
