Rochester Regional Health announced their ten year deal with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to expand into becoming LECOM’s largest clinical campus.
This collaboration will make it so students from the region are able to take pre-med classes through schools affiliated with LECOM and then complete training at RRH.
The partnership will place 100 students in their third and fourth years on a clinical rotation within the health system every month.
The partnership is seen as an investment due to the need for behavior health specialists in the future.
