The Valu Home Center in Geneva is shutting down.
The Buffalo-based, privately-owned home improvement retailer began a liquidation sale this week.
The company says that the Geneva location is one of three underperforming stores that are being shut down.
The other two locations are in Hornell and Springville.
The company cited the move of customers from brick-and-mortar shopping to online.
Valu Home Center has 38 locations in New York and Pennsylvania.
