The Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua will hold its 19th annual “Chipping in for Kids” Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 26 at CenterPoint Golf Club in Canandaigua.
Lunch and registration starts at 11 a.m. with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start for the 4-person scramble and dinner/prizes at 5:30 p.m. The event is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua Foundation.
Every golfer will receive a $100 Bridgestone gift certificate and the chance for the first person to make a hole-in-one on a selected Par 3 to win a free car, both donated and courtesy of Randall Farnsworth Auto Group.
Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua meets weekly in-person and virtually via Zoom call, and all are welcome. The Kiwanis motto — “Serving the Children of the World” — is carried out by helping the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups at the elementary, middle and high schools, highway clean-ups, raising money to help children and children’s support groups, and providing scholarships.
