47 million Americans are slated to travel for the 4th of July holiday, making it the second busiest 4th of July travel volume right behind 2019.
The increase is around 40% compared to last year.
According to AAA, 91% of travel will be by car, despite the current gas prices, the highest seen in 7 years.
Americans were unable to have the same travel opportunities last year, so 4th of July weekend is slated to be busy much like Memorial Day weekend was.
