Deputies: Two sent to the hospital after three-car crash on Rt. 31 in Arcadia

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that they responded to a three-car personal injury crash on Route 31 in Arcadia late last week.

They say one driver was ticketed for following too closely after investigation.

Deputies say George Heidenreich, 66, of Lyons was traveling east on Route 31 when he collided with the rear of another eastbound vehicle operated by 60-year-old William Cator, of Clyde.

That’s when Cator’s vehicle entered into the westbound lane- striking a third vehicle, which was operated by 16-year-old Emmi Moore, fo Lyons.

Moore and Cator was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Deputies said Heidenreich was ticketed.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Newark Fire and Wayne County ALS.
