No injuries were reported after a Memorial Day crash at the intersection of State Route 96 and County House Road in Fayette, but one person was charged with DWI.
Deputies say that on May 30 around 4:30 p.m. they were called to the intersection of State Route 96 and County House Road in Fayette for a two car crash.
A vehicle operated by Lisa Morin, 40, of Romulus was stopped on County House Road when she was struck by a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Mary Beth Karpel, of Pennsylvania.
Karpel had been northbound on Route 96 when she attempted to turn right onto County House Road. No injuries were reported.
However, Karpel was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over 0.08%, and failure to keep right.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
