Palmyra driver charged with aggravated DWI after two-car crash in Arcadia

Deputies report the arrest of a Palmyra woman following a personal injury crash in the town of Arcadia.

On Friday around 7:30 p.m. deputies were called to a crash on Whitbeck Rd.

They say two cars collided at the intersection of Whitbeck Rd. and West Shore Blvd.


Rebecca Castle is said to have been driving west on West Shore Blvd. when she failed to stop at a stop sign- causing the crash.

She was found to have a BAC of 0.21%. Castle was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and will answer the charge at a later date.

The Newark Fire Department and Newark Arcadia Volunteer Ambulance assisted.
