Around 7 a.m. on Saturday a Macedon man was taken into custody following an investigation into a harassment complaint.
The complaint was connected to an incident that occurred on Walworth Rd. In the town of Macedon.
Deputies arrested James Metzger, 43, of Macedon for second-degree harassment. They responded after a victim reportedly receiving threats over text message.
The text messages that were sent by Metzger made the victim fear for their safety.
He was processed and released to answer the charges at a later date.
