W-FL WEDNESDAY: Pal-Mac needs double-OT to top Whitman; Honeoye boys, Wayne girls also notch OT wins

It was an odd sight to see the Pal-Mac Red Raiders in Gorham taking on Marcus Whitman on Wednesday night but the contest did not disappoint. With both 1-loss squads tied after regulation, Quinn Nolan erased a 4 point overtime deficit with back to back driving layups and senior Paul Goodness went 7-8 from the charity stripe in two extra periods. Pal-Mac was able to escape with a 6 point win in double-overtime on Senior Night at Marcus Whitman.

Two other games needed overtime to decide a winner. The Honeoye Bulldogs handed South Seneca their first loss of the season in overtime and the Wayne girls defeated Newark in overtime.

Also on Wednesday night, the Mynderse Blue Devils defeated Waterloo for the first time in 2-years in Seneca Falls while the undefeated Waterloo Lady Indians took down the Mynderse girls a mile down the road in Waterloo. The Geneva Panthers got back on track after their first loss of the season on Monday as they cruised by Penn Yan, 88-59, while the Wayne Eagles remained perfect on the season after handing Newark their 5th straight loss.
