On January 23 police arrested a Canandaigua woman for endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Tina VanDuyne, 44, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after officers responded to a disturbance call.
It was determined that VanDuyne struck a child under the age of 17 in the face during a dispute.
She was arrested and will answer the charges at a later date.
