New York State Department of Labor representatives say issues involving unemployment have been resolved after an apparent glitch in the system over the weekend.
It’s the same system that received intense criticism during the early-days of the coronavirus pandemic.
This time around it didn’t take long for complaints to pile up on the Department of Labor’s Facebook page.
The issue was connected to forms, which would allow jobless workers to certify, so that they could receive the extra $300.
Officials say a phone call is not required to get the extended benefits, as part of a federal law signed by President Donald Trump last week.
