Deputies say a 29-year-old Wolcott man was arrested after he called 911 on his girlfriend.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a reported domestic incident on Williams Street in Wolcott earlier this week.
Daniel Gonyeau, 29, of Wolcott reported to 911 that his girlfriend was pushing him around.
Upon investigation it was determined that Gonyeau was actually violating an active stay away order of protection. He was subsequently arrested for second-degree criminal contempt and brought to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
