First responders say multiple departments were called to battle a house fire in Cayuga County during the overnight hours between Wednesday and Thursday.
The call came in for a structure fire on Cooper Street in the town of Conquest a little before 1 a.m.
Snow-covered roads made getting to the house fire a challenge.
“Great job to everyone on the scene of the fire in Conquest this morning. It was a great team effort in some horrible weather conditions. Nobody was hurt and we all made it home safe,” the Cato Fire Department said in a post to Facebook after the blaze.
Cato, Victory, Weedsport, Red Creek, Montezuma, Throop and Sennett responded to the fire.
No injuries were reported. It’s unclear at this time how much damage was done to the home.
