Police say a 30-year-old Seneca Falls resident was charged with DWI after a traffic stop on Ovid Street over the weekend.
It happened Sunday around 7:12 p.m. when officers initiated a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Brandon McCann, 30, of Seneca Falls was stopped for an equipment violation.
Following investigation it was determined that McCann was driving in an intoxicated condition. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a BAC over 0.08%.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
