A Palmyra man who faced a child pornography charge was sentenced on Friday.
David Gfeller, 35, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in federal court. That sentence will be followed by another 15 years of parole.
He pleaded guilty to producing child pornography.
U.S. Attorney James Kennedy Jr. announced the sentence in a press release late last week.
The former Palmyra resident was accused being part of an international child porn network with ties to Germany, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and France.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Homeland Security, and local authorities all worked together to move the investigation along.
In March 2019 Gfeller was arrested.
